I have never given so much thought to two birds flying until now. I thank you for opening my eyes to more than just what's on the surface...bird flight...has been changed for me forever :) The Kudos dh...they are over there...go collect them :)

DH, Simply a wonderful observation of nature that takes these two on separate paths and we can only hope to be reunited. ginga

Wow...I love your version...A Valentine's Eve...I can relate so much both the literal birds for there are many herons here in our place...I like these creatures they can be with the crowd but they are solitary animals...and the meaning...Well this wakes emotion in me especially this line "Together, we can't always be physically-but together we can be in purpose." yah know my father is a seaman abroad for a living and my mother is just at home taking care with us...but it just always it..."sacrifice, sacrifice" for all good things got high price"...Really so much story is awakened in my self by this so brief poem...

oh that's so excellent, that there are many herons with you! and what a great context you've shared ... that is sacrifice, on all sides ... i'm so glad this speaks to you, and really appreciate hearing what it brings up for you ... it's so interesting to me, how your and WS's impressions make this story richer and more layered ... and luv your "saying" i've never heard that one before, sacrifice, sacrifice ... ty so much for the visit and the thoughtful note, stellar ... -dh

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
