DH, I love the way yesterday is left behind and all the great thoughts from yesterday are moved forward to today and the future to expand further positively upon. Ahh yes, self and the birds welcome spring. ... Namaste and Blessings 2011... StandingBear

They say multi tasking people dont have great memories, I say that's BS, if it's important then it will resurface, I like the metaphors here very much. And yes planting seeds is fun, interesting piece, wisdom in flight, thank you WS

i used to have a great memory, but i must confess now the details and tangents are so many that notes always provide me with things i'd forgotten i'd written or thought about ... like reading someone else's writing almost, sometimes ... then again, the things i need to know seem to surface when i need to know them, as long as i can keep them in focus, lol ... ty for your awesome note and time in reading this little ditty and all you do on the Interweb, WS! -dh

"And I have promises to keep" The grit it takes to make the pipe-dream real is laborious to say the least. And the days like the hairs on my head are getting fewer and fewer. "And I have miles to go before I sleep" "Three bells and all is well" The earth quakes and one plate slips under the other and things change. Ah thank creation for spring after "Winter’s Cold Song"// The experience of winter / brings a sorrow to my bones. / A stylus for the weather. / You sum it up with a sigh,/ but I feel the carless moan/ through barren branches. / A promise that awaits / the budding in spring./// A poet friend// RH Peat © RH Peat / 1/13/2011 12:39pm form: Stichic/ 8 lines. Metaphore: Waiting, loss goes by

It's funny; I'd just written this little short poem that I left here about 2 hours before I read your poem. I even posted it without rereading or rewriting it. And it has a typo in it. "careless" It was still a rough. But I was in that place as well. What can I say; the planet spins on its axis. A poet friend// RH Peat

Strange that you're line breaks aren't working properly. I'd send papa a message and ask him for help. I was able to break it pretty easily from the content, but some other readers may have trouble. Anyway... this is awesome, DH :) A beautifully worded wish for a new year filled with inspiration. Thanks, I needed this :)

Dancing, I have the same problem with my Mac. But if I wait a day and then try to post it allows me to post. But sometimes I have to wait a bit before the box will open as well. A poet friend// RH Peat

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
