Oh do I know this//// Rearranging my status in my bones for the third time, the book is getting harder to read. The awkwardness of the chair does not relent. I look for the energy in the disolving word to awaken my blood. But squinted eyes are greeted by the mesmerization of the slow dribble inside scientific thought. The heap awaits my wants, yet the stack increases with every turn in the stream. The shadows hidden in expectations grow into monsters while my determination dwindles to speak with ants. Somehow sleep grabs my head and wrestles me down to twist me prone on the couch. And once again I awake to say: "Where was I?" The knot in the line has loosened and the dingy is now far adrift again. sometimes rest, indeed, is all we need to make it all look right ... perspective is ... everything ... love this (rocking?) chair vignette on concentration ... ty, poet friend! -dh

Does the stack ever really dwindle. it seems as fast as we dig into them something is adding another in the line. :-) A great poem you have here.

Very thought provoking for such a shorty, DH! The clutter and chaos of thoughts that tend to scatter about in the mind, only to be reeled in by the most diligent of thinkers, is what I immediately thought of when reading. Nicely written and thanks for making my brain work :)

Ah! The time it takes to organize chaos is never equal to the time it takes to create chaos, and like angels, you hands fluttered through the heap only to produce bliss—I hope! A stellar write in only a few words. Bravo!!!!!!!
