    This poem was written almost a year ago to call out some things i was frustrated with and still deal with from time to time.

    Sometimes I feel lonely,
    Wanting someone to be,
    Right there to show me,
    She's just fine being with me,
    Other times I want it all,
    To be overwhelmed with women,
    Who surround me summer, spring and fall,
    And let me know I'm livin,

    I strive for both but have failed to gain either,
    Nearly 28 years old and I can barely meager,
    A date! A simple I get to know you and you the same to me,
    A small achievement in the grand scheme of things, but it's a start to spark some happy,

    I'm not wallowing in my patheticness, I'm just stating things as I see,
    I'm dissapointed I'm not where I am supposed to be,
    Nor make the effort when opportunities arise to make my dreams come true,
    Instead I play the spectator and feel like the color of this ink, blue,

    What's worse, I have the keys to success, the license to win and win with a swagger, a sway,
    But I play the role of walking encyclopedia, full of knowledge, but no experience to this day,
    I'm ashamed the pen has to say all this but if he doesn't, my pride will remain,
    It's time I took a step to greatness and erase years of pain,

    Plant the seeds of thought, ones that will change the way I think,
    Give me the power to make my destiny, and put together the missing link,
    I'm sorry this poem is a little long for you, but the hand needed the support of the pen,
    Connected to the arm that joins the shoulder, he expresses what was felt deep within.

    Well please seize the day.....somehow I think that you won't have too much trouble once you commit to this project....if your work on this site is a glimpse into your world...then you will be just fine...nice poem....or should I say nice thoughts,....lol

    I hear ya on this note my friend King.. mine can be found at my entry "Prophet.. or just a ... ".. it's not really a poem.. but a path.. and not just my path.. but maybe an inkling for anyone in there,,, Good writing about this tho' ,, very well done
