    Poem Commentary

    This poem is about a moment i had as child playing in the snow. It was one of the very few moments of my childhood where to this day i still smile upon.

    Little Snowman

     Little Snowman 26 Lines

    Wrapped up so much I felt stuffed,
    It looked like somone came and huffed,
    And puffed,
    Untill I was a little snowman who upon the touch of snow could barely walk,
    Didnt help that the snow was over 2 feet deep, too cold to talk,

    But not too cold for the little snowman to play,
    I started out with enough energy to go on all day,
    But 2 feet deep the snow was the better man,
    Friend of the cold, he had a better plan,

    I grew tired as only a 4 year old could,
    And so stood over my frosty brethern as if to think and knock on wood,
    Till a thought to make a snow angel took shape,
    I jumped as if I was me with supermans cape,
     
    Stretched arms wide warm as fire inside,
    Fell into the snow as if I came home to reside,
    Saw the grey sky above and thought to count sheep,
    Till next thing you know I was fast asleep,

    Woke up thought I slept overnight,
    Discomboulated I wondered if I would be wet on my legs left and right,
    Slogged over to the house the snow put up a fight,

    The little snowman melted away and the little puffy boy returned to sight,
    And tired but smiling retired inside my home in winter delight.

    reminds me of an ol song about falling snow and outside school we use to climb the snow hills! this was real good!
