     Cuddle By the Bonfire: 31 Lines


    In the moment we are come,
    For later moments to be one,
    On a clear night out by the ocean,
    The moon shining down on earth, the slow gliding locomotion,
    We see the reflection as we are embraced,
    The fire high a blazing,
    With smores a praisin,

    We feast and dine,
    Glad I am yours and glad you are mine,
    The heat intensifies our embrace,
    Soft skin against mine I feel the race,
    And rise of your heart,
    As it flows with motion like this piece of art,

    I seek to mimic, to assimilate,
    My own heartbeat with yours to which wed do more than affiliate,
    You rest your head back and i feel your soft hair lean and rest against my chest and face,
    A pillow in of itself, my face resting against your hair proves to be no better place,

    I smell it's beauty and want to endow myself in it,
    It is another place of comfort that i submerge myself in, fit,
    Then I get the honor of watching your face in all of it's glory,
    One side is warmed and illuminated by the fire, the other the moon as if it had another story,

    Of your beauty found only within,
    As we hear the waves crash and internalize their peaceful sounds again and again,
    Overtime your face nuzzles mine as i continue to look at the ocean and listen to what our voices, minds, why even the heart craves,
    And I'm filled with joy as your gaze paves,
    The endless sea of the ocean waves.

    Wow...you are most definitely going in my FAVS.....another great write....I think I will stop for the night though.....don't want to overdose......lol.....Great poems...
