The 3 part romance: The date 48 LinesToday im going to plan out in my head like a woman does when she finds someone she considers a mate,
Date, Relationship, Soulmate!
Ill even play the role of wedding planner just to see this through,
Time to create a piece anew,
Wow, she is attrative, sipping coffee, but her shoes caught me first,
Pretty, pedicured and sexy they cause me to thirst,
I take a slow upward stroll up her legs and rest of upper body to the face,
"WOW!"I wasnt expecting beauty like this to come in this place,
Now I must decide if I should open my mouth, say a word or two, speak,
Well, after we lock eyes on what is called the first eternal stare, meet,
After looking back at my laptop and then looking up again our eyes do meet, lock,
Now, I have a decision to make.Tic,Toc,
I respond with a happy good morning and smile at the same time,
She smiles back to my surprise and responds in kind,
"How are you?" I say, ready to converse,
"Im fine" She says with head going up in reverse,
Our eyes meet again and I ask what she is drinking,
She says Caramel Brulee, eyes locked again wondering what each other are thinking,
Like a lion who watches a zebra at the same drinking pond so did I with her,
For some reason or another, I felt that the two of us could take this interaction much further,
And boy I did with the next question, phrase,
"What are you reading?" Her eyes widened shocked, half crazed,
"Im um? Reading a uh...story about a romance formed on a ship."
"Something like titanic?" "OH NO!" she said, "This ones a trip!"
And finally the spark of life,the kick to the engine took us off,
We talked and talked forgetting the world as if it was just us on a loft,
Then, full of courage at the height of the conversation,
I abruptly left and sensed and urgent sensation,
Rise out of her but I wouldnt leave her hanging,
Left her my number, said we should have lunch at the cafe next door,
CPK sometimes brings it with their food to emplore,
She smiled happliy and readily acepted my request,
I was not prepared for her next jest,
No, I was used to not being called and so had already moved forward, she long gone,
But she called me 5 minutes later, A HAH! WAIT! HOLD ON!
"Hi stranger!" she said, "Long time no see",
I took a gamble calling you, I hope this really is you, you see",
"Hello Miss Caramel Brulee latte."
"The beautiful woman I met at starbucks today"
"What say you about that CPK offer? Yay or Nay?"
"I say yay and when? Oooh how about today?"
"Sounds good to me. Hows 12:30 sound?"
"Sounds good to me mister. See you around!"
