The Romantic Knight Part 2
The Romantic Knight part 2: 70 LinesLast time our noble knight,
Was a lover with all his might,
But reached his peak in chasing women,
His capacity for them it seemed was brimin,
With an overflow, overwhelm, overmatch even to keep up with those who chased him,
Yet still they all embraced him,
For he couldn't refused a pretty face, or pretty eyes,
Chuckling to himself at night, "Sometimes that's my demise,"
Till one day he met another,
Beautiful woman unlike any other,
Never scared of the best, though he sought all kinds,
He went for the gold to see what good binds,
He could find, create with this dame,
As he a knight stood before her and observed her frame,
"Wow" he thought, "What hath God done",
"A beauty so glorious under the raging sun,
What brings you here on this beautiful day,
I see you come quite a long long way,"
"And who are you sir, to ask what you cannot know?
You looked for rain but found pure snow,"
"Fear not my lady, i come in love,
I mean no harm, and am calmer than the sweetest dove,
I fight by trade, but am a lover at heart,
Though push come to shove I'll tear a lion apart,
I only ask because in truth i do,
Seek you out and desire you,"
"O' noble knight, soul partner of love,
I see youre love is genuine and from above,
But I just wont up and go with you,
Not till you've proven that you are true,"
"Lol, i have nothing to prove, i am who i am,
A lover of women and gentler than a ram,
I adore your beauty and desire it most,
But if you think I'll chase you, Phew! Your toast!"
Astonished she was, not used to being rejected,
His words stung harder than a open wound infected,
The knight turned away beginning to regret,
His attraction to her, moments earlier a secret,
Till he felt a pull on his golden armour, he turned his chest,
Eyes and head followed to see the request,
"Wait!" She said, "I've heard about you,
You hook the women you love, then have them fall for you,
Only to shake then to the left, and leave their hearts black and blue,
I only gave you strong words to let you know where I stand,
I am harder than a rock an d smoother than sand,"
"Very well for your effort, But you've misheard and misunderstood,
I am no heartbreaker, let me knock thrice on wood,
Women come to me yes, and they come to me often,
But they come to me in love and so i sit loftin,
Overwhelmed sometimes because so many come,
too many to handle even if i choose some,
Ask any woman, any time any place, and she will say that i rang true,
Never have i hurt a Lady, or make her heart sing blue,
Tis on this day however, I thought my search might be won,
Not that I was looking for someone in particular, But to find a buddy would take a ton,
Off of me so that i can be at peace and forget,
Lest i sit and wonder, be full of regret,"
"My apologies my lord, I know not what i speak,
I certainly am strong, but you certainly arent meek,
Let's start off better, try again you and I,
See what can happen, maybe take off and fly,"
"No thank you maiden, Ive seen enough,
You re beauty has faded, and so my attraction to you, tough"
And with that the knight shook her off and walked away,
Disappointed on this day,
A beauty so fine full of no delight,
Will he find a lover in part 3? till next time good night!
