Valentines Day
VALENTINES DAY 106 LINES
8 am I wake up, sunshine in my eyes,
To my left a gift, a surprise,
One so sweet so fair,
So soft, tender and precious like a breath of air,
I smile, know my plan is set,
Begin the day knowing the end will end with your lips wet,
Wash myself, the finest cologne ready with his name,
To indulge my nostrils and chocolate skin just the same,
Take a left and then a right,
Watch as the sunlight,
Radiates a glory I think comes from heaven,
Only to see it is you still sleeping,
Dreaming, weaving,
Meanwhile I grab the keys and head out the door,
The plan set all the more,
Pass the shops and all the restaurants downtown,
Cross the place where our hands and faces will later abound,
Go to the flower shop and stop for what is round one,
Of cupids love for that special someone,
I grab 14 red roses and meet 14 men outside,
Instructions I do provide,
Come hither, go hither, go which way, go there,
At such and such time present her this red rose out of nowhere,
Smile and let your smile beam heavenly joy,
And in her eyes you will see the spark of love, OH boy!
And while each man did his bidding I prepared the home,
Where a lot of noises fit for lovers would later rule, roam,
Red rose pedals trailing from the entrance all the way to the bedroom, the lair,
When I’m done romancing, I won’t have a prayer,
She will unleash her love and like the prey caught in the spiders web I will have sealed my fate,
Passion ignited until well after the moon rises high late,
Meantime after the 14 man has done his deed,
I, the noble steed,
Ride in a carriage and take her away from the place she calls work,
And take her to the place where her fantasy awaits lurks,
We stop by her favorite store and get her favorite dress,
Can’t wine and dine her and she looks like a mess,
Take her to get her hair and nails done so that I see beauty Ive never known,
What a seed I have then sown,
Watch in awe as I am razzled,
She flush, happy but bedazzled,
I wrap my arms around her, coming from behind,
Smelling a sweet smell that blows my mind,
I have to catch myself, floored at the smell and sight of someone so great,
Respond in just enough time to feel her face against mine and hand her roses who are light weight,
Dine at the spot quiet and fit for two,
Eat food that we love and make us the glue,
Queue the band in the background to play the violin,
Part of the same 14 that I hired earlier from within,
Watch as their sounds roar with delight,
Get ready to ask the questions of questions on this night,
Without notice on one knee I do kneel,
My heart now in her hands ready to save or kill,
I ask the question every man must ask,
And wait to see my fate that bask,
She smiles and in the smile I SEE heaven,
As if I the child of god ask for bread unleavened,
And he see my request and with all the compassion in his heart,
Gives me my desire deep within from the start,
So did she answer with a romantic yes,
Eyes welled ready to fill a gigantic treasure chest,
Tears flowed from the heart within,
Never thought I would receive a gift so valuable despite a life of sin,
Met her eyes whom also had tears of joy,
Unspeakable while I dared employ,
So powerful was the moment up there,
Had even the violinist shedding a glorious stare,
Of a tear or two on every mans face,
Such is the power of love, beauty and grace,
Tis the rest of the story you know ends well,
Off we went and later made love just swell,
Cupid did his job, maybe his finest yet,
Happy on this day another couple for life set!
