Haiku Part 3: Prey

Haiku Part 3: Prey

They can feel the air
Morning becomes a new day
One that all can share

In the open space
Animals live vibrantly
Moving with the pace

Despite many wise
They look right through him
Too enamored by the skies

Inconspicuous
Roving through the field
There, the hunter lies

Salivating prey
Cautiously inching ahead
Approaching his prize

He chooses the weak
Ready to consume his catch
Amid wailing cries

I really liked this one. Sometimes I feel the weak prey, and sometimes I feel like the hunter. Another great one.

This is really good, I'm impressed, awesome, :) WS

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
