Changing Chance

Here I am looking at the world below
Anxiously hoping with so far to go
Instantly, I see where I desire to be
Until that picture fades into obscurity
The feeling inside tells me I’m alive
On a journey past where the stars collide
One in a million says that I’m past due
But I’m so happy that I’m here with you

Some people try to hurt you with their schemes
But don’t let them take away your means
They’ll tell you not to fight for your right to choke
Only because they’ve lost their will to hope
Leave them behind in their world of gloom
Desperation made them give into the doom
Every man, woman, and child need a lifeline
To use on the future that they plan to find
