Our Last Mourning
Early in her mourningHave people forgotten
About her
Early the other morning
Her mother learned
She'd really lost her
Very soon
She left mommy's side
Leaving this girl
Nowhere left to hide
Somewhere
Along this dreadful ride
Her so-called "friends"
Left her alone to die
Some say her life was boring
Some say they couldn't really
Miss her
As if their laughter was curing
They laughed at and
Ridiculed her
Very soon
She left mommy's side
Leaving this girl
Nowhere left to hide
Somewhere
Along this dreadful ride
Her so-called "friends"
Left her alone to die
And something about
All the things that they said
Caused her to go off
And lose her head
If only she knew
There were people like us
Looking for somebody
That they could trust
Very soon
She left mommy's side
Leaving this girl
Nowhere left to hide
Somewhere
Along this dreadful ride
Her so-called "friends"
Left her alone to die
Very soon
She got on this ride
Looking for
A new place to hide
Even after
The beautiful sights
She didn't believe
What the world called "right"
Early in her mourning
Have people forgotten
About her
Early the other morning
We all learned
That we'd really lost her
