Dear Ben
I can't keep waiting for you to come back.I keep sitting,
And crying,
And waiting for you.
No guy can compare
To the perfection you are,
And I hate you for it.
You are so many miles away,
And I never hear your voice,
Or see you great smile,
And beautiful eyes.
How do you still mean
So much to me?
I sit with a wonderful guy
That is head over heels for me,
But his charm reigns no effect over me.
No matter the guy,
No matter the looks,
No matter the charm,
And no matter the touch.
Ohio is definitely far from Texas.
Your hand is most definitely
So far from mine.
I can't wait for you to come back,
But will you still love me?
Will our love be as strong
As it was a year ago,
Or maybe a few months ago?
Sometimes,
I find some way to tell you
That I love you.
But,
You don't always respond the same.
Sometimes I'm just your friend.
Sometimes it's just "alright,"
"Goodbye," or
"I'll talk to you some other time."
I'm getting sick of this
Part-time love!
Loves me,
Loves me not child's play!
At times,
I am perfect,
Everything you could ask for
And sometimes more,
But more recently
You're distant and couldn't care less
About what I say,
What I think...
How much I still love you.
I cry everytime I think of you
And I think of you constantly.
I see your face everytime I close my eyes,
So I close them oh-so often.
We were the perfect pair.
Everyone knew we were in love,
Even strangers could see.
We sure are young,
But so mature,
And that way, age didn't matter.
Some girls made up rumors,
Some girl you happen to be awfully
Close to:
Some girl that you believed.
You came to me
For everything
Because my choice always came first,
And I'd never lie to you,
But suddenly because of physical distance,
Our hearts grew distance as well.
Why we ended where we are,
I still have trouble conprehending,
But maybe one day
We will be back,
Stronger than before...
But that's just my hopes.
And hopes are hard to come by
In this dreadful time...
