All The Pieces
I watch so many heartsFall down all around me.
I feel their acid tears
Pressing against my face
Like the desperate
Winds of time.
Hollow voices envelope
My hopeless being
And lift me to the stars.
The sky is vast and utterly dark,
The stars: so bright and full.
Feeling such odd emotions
(Such as joy,
Excitement, and wonder)
A smile dances onto
My now-beautifully-colored face.
But, suddenly,
The awesome light burns.
I scream in horror
Only to hear utter silence,
And I fall.
With the other dreams,
I fall
Onto the shattered hopes below
And, now, I am surrounded
By the broken pieces
Of my heart.
