Sweet Remedies

The darkest hour lasts
As long as I'm without you.
The longest nights are thoe
When I cannot hear you.
The sun just has not risen
To announce a new beginning,
Until my heart is within your hand.
It's so dificult to explain,
But I think you understand.
If you don't,
Well, here, I'll show you,
But you've got to close your eyes.
I'll take you to a place
Where there's no need to say goodbye.
I can show you such a place
Where there's only you and I,
But you'll need to close your eyes.
This place is always quite lovely.
I'm hoping you might join me.
You can open your eyes now.
Can't you see?
This place is just
Your memory.
