Such Contradictions
ScreamSo loud
Until you go hoarse
But can they hear you
You're underneath this world
Hidden behind their lies
Their sick realities
And demented thoughts
Suffocation
Ends up
Sounding so peaceful
But what are you leaving
Your so-called "opportunities"
"True love" and "pure bliss"
That can wait
For the next generation
Dreams
TUrn to
A dreadful scream
But do they really care
You're lost in bloody lullabies
Drowning in your sheets
Wishing you were
Able to wake
Darkness
Becomes
So awfully quiet
But isn't that nice
You're cherishing the feeling
Of being all alone
When such things
Rarely last
Though you're screaming
And noone can hear you
You raise your voice
Though Death follows you
And you want to slip away
You run so far from it
Though your dreams
Try to kill you
Still you slumber
And though
Darkness holds you alone
And captive
You want somebody there
Yet you cherish
The silence
