    To Hell with the Devil

    The sun shines
    The grass is green
    This could be heaven
    Dull yes dull, but heaven

    The surf crashes
    The wind braces
    The sirens cry heaven
    They beckon unto heaven

    Book cases two floors high
    Sulfur smell of cheap sci-fi
    So many versions of heaven
    Agnostic’s limbo, apostate’s heaven

    Friends to dine with
    Beloved to drink wine with
    Relatives celebrating heaven
    Children are a promise to heaven

    Peace is heaven
    Excitement is heaven
    Knowledge is heaven
    Those we love are heaven

    And don't forget "Love," is heaven! I really enjoyed the simplicity of this piece; Simply said, yet spoken strong! Great stuff!
