    Poem Commentary

Begone foul beasts back to the depths of hell from whence thou came!

    Terminal Illness

    Cancelled, disconnected, terminated with prejudice
Access to my life has been halted till further notice
Goodbye cable, phone, e-mail and more
Snail mail sitting on the desk as I walk out the door

I am done with you, finished, replete with sneer
For things I hold to be far more dear
Books, chairs, beaches, and beloved camp
Even though as usual it will be rainy and damp

Breakfast when ever, lunch will be late
A stack of books and I have a date
But no cell phone, or other communication
For the love of Mike I’m going on vacation

Now that is poetic conviction played out to its finest - oh if it was just that easy, though I do hear a stack of books beckoning. Very good write, for I REALLY LIKED IT! Write ON - Live Strong

very cool nice work . ya have a very great flow with words keep up the good work

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
