    Hoping...

    Sit and wait,
    still holding him as he cries,
    but knowing once he stops,
    he's gone...

    and you wonder why you're even there...

    But you look at him,
    and feel a tug
    in your heart,
    and you know...

    You are hoping...

    That maybe, just maybe,
    once his heart heals,
    he'll let you in,
    like you've let in him...

    And you know he wont....

    Because once he stops,
    he's gone...
    And no one will hold you
    as you cry...

    I love this . So siimmple and sweet. You nailed it right on the head. They need you to mend their broken heart but don't look beyond that... into your heart. Hey, I think I feel a poem coming on!! love ya!
