    Eternal Silence...

    silence...
    hear the     silence
    and wallow in it...
    Feel it engulf you,
    wrap you up,
    too tight,
    just
    so
    tight that you cant breath...
    and then darkness,
    loneliness,
    all the things you hate,
    but love despite it all,
    and the darkness
    and silence
    grows and thickens
    and you suffocate...

    You wake to light,
    so
    bright,
    too
    bright,
    and you go blind
    and you're in
    darkness again,
    loving,
    lovely darkness,
    and the noises,
    OH SO LOUD!
    make you crave
    the
    oh so quiet silence...

    And then the rope
    and silence
    and darkness...

    and death.

    Was something like emotional magnification. I could see the magnifying glass going up and down, further and closer. Perhaps it was the wording. Raw poem Immy. It releases in a strong way yet still knows where its headed.
