    Nothing is "Just" Anything...

    It started out
    with a headache,
    thats all it was...
    But it grew
    with the need,
    the need for the numb...
    Just one little pill,
    I swear,
    thats all...
    Turn around
    and empty out
    the whole freakin' bottle...

    Just one time,
    thats all it took,
    one little smoke
    to get me hooked...
    They said
    it was cool
    and it kinda was...
    'til my teeth turned yellow,
    and from pink
    to black
    went my gums...


    I loved him
    you know,
    so i let him have it...
    but then i wondered
    how another guy
    would hit it...
    I just wanted to see
    if things would be
    different...
    they say I have a disease
    and I dont know
    how I got it...

    I didnt know
    what I was doing
    and want to take it all back...
    But somehow
    in the back of my mind,
    I know I cant.

    Because Im just an Addict...

    This is something that I hope ALL young people read and take to heart... you can't take it back, once it's done. You've done a wonderful job expressing that. Even the attached picture is perfect! Well done!
