    Poem Commentary

    *sighs* boredom catches me in its dirty grasp again... :/ oh well...

    Words from the Warrior Queen...

     Pray tell,
    who accuses me?
    Who hates me
    and wants to bruise me?

    Cause my skin to break,
    skin tanned
    and scarred;
    Blood-drained for enternity?

    Which of you dares
    to spit out my name,
    like its foul,
    then speak sweetly to my face?

    Show me my enemy!
    Let him come
    and dance as warriors do,
    our swords clashing in harmony...

    Sit in my throne and speak,
    as if he were my King,
    if he accuses me
    of being weak...

    Come, who challenges me?
    Who loaths me deeply
    and wants
    my heartbeat to cease?

    A knife in the dark,
    a fair gift from a faceless lord?
    A knife to slice
    through my blackened heart...

    Come and face me,
    cowards and
    two-faced men!
    Come and take me...

    Very Nice, it truly makes me think of the ancient times when knights, queens, kings, warriors, samurais, all of them ruling there sides of there dynasty, of there part of the world. Bravo in writing such a successful poem. I give you 10.

    oh queen...you are not alone in this... Ships at sea my love is a sinking ship torpedoed at the waterline strafed from above repeatedly low on fuel out of ammunition too weak to fight or run circling the islands of normalcy looking for a safe harbor of willing arms a peaceful cove in a warm bed i have been tossed about on the sea of you the savage storms of your disapproval rejections like silent torpedoes your words blowing holes in the moment engine room flooded with tears rudder unresponsive i run up the white flag we'll do it your way my crew of emotions on deck in dress whites and you appearing from the sun guns of looks and actions blazing my self esteem has fallen but my pride still spits at you with his pop gun of small whiskey bottles and even smaller bags of weed i'm caught here sinking in the deep blue sea fingers on fire punctured life boats surrounded by pussy sharks the alternative to be towed into your harbor and dismantled djones 2009
