n Impossible Dream
An Impossible Dream
The day after it is today
Tomorrow will become yesterday
As deeds done in it will go away
To halls of past memories to stay
And memories of things done then
Will be placed in the bin of I Remember When
As even the hard fought sacrifice
Will no longer seem such an enormous price
As the pain of each event
Will in submission finally relent
And the shame, despair, and agony
Will become a distant memory
That awaits the moment when
It shall be reborn again
To for a season sow confusion
By it’s regenerated false illusion
Telling you that once more
Things will be as they were before
And the vivid vision will seem
Like winning for you is an impossible dream
