The Gap
The Gap
Old School, New School, working together
In order to make the situation better
We have to come together in a dialogue
To make things for all better off
Facing our real and imagined fears
Drying each other’s bitter tears
Spitting the rap, bridging the gap
Laying down the natural Facts
No longer biting each other but embracing one another
Working to take this a whole ‘nother farther
Being analytical, yet not paralytical
Brainstorming positives, without being critical
Helping the future to embrace the past
Building new dreams and visions that last
On the one son, just having fun
No hidden agendas or games to run
Negativity, is a reality
That we vow never comes to be
In the new and bold community
We are trying to build positively
Old school as well as new school
Inserting positive ideas in the brain pool
Laying down clear honest tracks
Played to the beat of natural facts
How much can we be if in reality
We band together in unity
Old school and new school, kicking it like that
Can finally bridge the generational gap
