Young Sistah
Young sister, so foxy and fine
Let me speak to your mind
I refuse to call you the word that rhymes with witch
And you o’ ebony princess should be sick of it
You’re woman the gateway to life
The potential to be someone’s wife
The half that makes a man whole
The vessel that delights his soul
The epitome of femininity
A universe of potentiality
Beauty only God could design
A masterpiece of beauty divine
And should you wear a dress or skirt
And with a man decide to flirt
And show him just a glimpse or two
Of your charms, a heavenly view
It will literally drive him crazy
As he sets out to make you his baby
His boo, his queen, his Nubian dream
The strong anchor to his team
So young sister so sexy and fine
In the game of love, take your time
Don’t accept just any man
You’re better than that so understand
Your beauty, and your grand design
Is ordained by the lord God divine
To stimulate a man’s heart and mind
Because he made you so darn fine
