Too Wonderful

You awake to see another day

Still that blessing has not come

The one you were told is on the way

That very special one

You awoke in your right mind

And despite a few aches and pains

Though you take it for granted, still you find

You are very healthy and still quite sane

Yet you’re looking for that miracle

Your God has promised you

He’s the God of the impossible

You’re on the verge of your breakthrough

But while you’re yet waiting

On that for which you’ve believed

While you’re yet anticipating

Look at all you’ve already received

Life, health, and strength abundantly

As you go along your way

And the freedom to do extensively

All you do or say

So while you look to him for that

Which you have yet to receive

Take a life long look back

On all the blessings too wonderful to believe
