"NIGHTMARES IN THE SANITARIUM"
Nightmares in the Sanitarium
The fright begins when they lock that cold, steel door
If you're lucky, you'll get a room to yourself
Most do not, you're at the mercy of the nurse on that floor
She doesn't care just as long as you're still
You're so freaken scared, you can't help but to cry
The beginning of a long night, before you know it, you'll have your fill
You're there but just a few days
You wonder who is crazier, the patient or the caregivers
They have some creepy ways
Even in this day and age a sanitarium is a frightful place
To be emotionally or mental ill
Gets you locked up for your own good, just in case
Don't let them fool you
Treatment is still barbaric
Locked away for so long, do you even know who is who?
When med time rolls around, you want to hide
What poison are they feeding you
If you could look at your chart, would it coincide?
Why is it these pills that are to make you all better
Give you such horrible nightmares
You're so frightened you become a bedwetter
Then there's the nightly screams
Where do they come from
Are they people, spirits, or just your dreams?
You don't dare bring it up, you'll just get more labels
Your treatment will become worse
Maybe they'll bring out the cables
Electro shock therapy is still used everyday
People never recover from this
Don't you believe for a minute what they say
But night time is by far the scary time for sure
You have no idea what is lurking
Sure as hell isn't a cure
Shadow figures and spirits may roam your halls
Night feels like eternity, you need to get out
You really need to find your balls!
