"THE KEY TO HAPPINESS"

The key to happiness will open this lock
Isn't as elusive as it might seem
It's not magical like a sundial clock

Everyone holds their own key, for this I'm sure
They may not understand, they  might need some time
To figure it all out, like a brand new cure

The lock says "happiness" right on the front side
How can one miss it, it's so plain to see
Maybe they are in too much hurry, how they cried

I took my key to open the happiness lock
Much to my surprise, I was happy to find
The lock was open, I didn't even have to knock

That's how easy this happiness thing can be
It's a mind over matter, if you really want it
Happiness will come to thee

Life is tough, yes this is so true
But if you look from another angle
It can be pink instead of blue

The only time the lock is closed for the happiness key
Is when your mind is shut like a steal trap
Open your mind, and let the happiness run free

This is a choice we all can make
Seems so silly to be miserable
Not to appease anyone else, but just for your own sake!
