"THE HEAT"
"THE HEAT"
Dori Wheeler 17aug09
The heat makes your thoughts go insane
You find yourself thinking of killing
The next one that looks through the window-pane
The heat sucks out all of your energy until you're dry
Nothing left, not a coherent thought
At the day's end you can't even remember why
The heat can also be a beautiful thing
When it's between two people
The only thing between you two is a flimsy string
The heat makes the passion run amuck
The sweat and stickiness is disgusting
But still a turn on while you're about to suck
Suck the icecream off the side of the cone
Because it's dripping down from the heat
You don't want it to drip on your brand new phone
The heat is relevant depending on the time of year
In the summer we can't stand it
In the winter we are pleaing for it, it might not come we fear
The heat is hated and loved depending on
What time of year it is
The heat can be just like crypton!
