As I Lay Sleeping

As I Lay Sleeping

As I lay sleeping

I searched through my restless mind

Looking for answers to every question I find

Night becomes day

Day becomes nigh

Is there anything before or after?

I want to know why

Before; there was pre-time?

After; is there any human kind?

These are the questions that came to mind

No sense it make when I put them to words

As I lay sleeping this is what I heard.

Being confused usually leads to great inspiration, turning writers to great poets. You flowed beautifully. I've had nights of unrest, because my mind fills up with questions after questions, and mostly about faith. It is unexplainable, but it does exist. You will your answers, just let it come naturally. Sometimes when we search we miss it all together. Have you had something just happen without explaination, or that gut feeling that tells you to do one thing, when you want to do something else. That is faith tugging at you. Your conscience is your holy spirit talking with you. Like GucciGurl said, just believe! This was a very beautiful write. Thanks for the read.

After a time of struggle and heart break. The loss of my dear sweet brother. He has sent me a sign as I lay down to sleep just only last night.. There is an after Im not sure what but it is good and peaceful. It will heal our soul from all the hurt we have had. Just believe

A great surmise of our most asked questions, who, what, why, when, where? where we're headed Nice dream good job with thge words,

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
