    Short, Simple and Sweet

    I wrote a poem to myself     
    It was short     
    Simple  
    And sweet

    It has rhythm, rhymes;       
    It was something neet

    I talked about time as it flows on     
    I talked about things as if a song

    I talked about life as I live    
    I talked about death and what I would give

    This poem I wrote     
    Was short,     
    Simple   
    And sweet
