    Ripped from the pages of my journal

    Pray and Pray Again

    It finally arrived, the bad news I feared the most    
    Yet I mustn’t abandon my post
    I prayed and prayed but my one blessin' haven’t yet come
    As I watched the joyous occasion on the faces of some
    I know my God loves me because He says so    
    Does He hear my prayer;
                                                        My cries?  
    This I don’t yet know        
    For now the struggle continues, till there is none
    I must continue to fight till I receive my blessing from the Mighty One
    I will not give Satan a chance to win    
    So I get on my knees to Pray
                                                                 and Pray Again

    wow great write its funny cuz those very thought are going through my head right, i mean u believe and u pray and pray but nothing every changes and just want to say fuck it i have but then ya think maybe i should pray harder or maybe i'm doing something wrong so yeah u just on your kness and pray. but any way i love this poem cuz i relate to it. nice write bird brain lol
