x alumnus of poets.com Welcome

...Gather here and  hold fast
 finally a site  that isn't a rash
what we  wanted and hoped for is here
and "Its  for Real" and wont disappear
the friends we had and titles gained
will not fade  or be in Vain
writers  all do gather here
who can learn what we learned
 and write in good cheer
break the betrayal we felt
i just hope the  mispellchecker holds up
from the typos i dealt
I may be not much of a poet
read my postings  and  you will all know it
 (...Just another Typoet)

Love your humor and #^%%^. Keep these typos going and you are a poet. We all need spell check, some more than others.

This is what we needed, a place to be use fre of the Bullsh#t and able to just write and discuss each others work. I really like this and hope to keep everyone entertaind and talking. You provide that spark that makes me want to get better.

I humbly apologise for that spark..(lol)

Thank you so much for sharing yourself with me. I loved the poem. It touched me. Again thank you!!!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
