meloncholics annonomous

after hours of sleep
deep and dreaming
i peeked through a window in my dreams
saw her there through both our windows, felt my longing
and saw the age and the beauty
of her that is the naming of my soul

though in sleep
conscious awakened
i passed through windows doors and walls
my hand on her head touching her hair calling her to me
it was enough for me, though i want more
till perhaps somday it wont be drempt

after hours of sleep
deep and dreaming
i peeked through a window in my dreams
saw her there through both our windows, felt my longing
and saw the age and the beauty
of her that is the naming of
my soul

Good thoughtful poem with texture. But does somday =someday and needs to be corrected? I am dyslexic and I often misspell words. I just noticed that. Spelling. I am trying to adjust to your unique lower case format. Interesting content with true reminisce of poems by T. S. Eliot. Sincerely, CatsMeow

A dream lover, a soul able to touch another on another plane, in another realm. A wonderful poem, a unique perspective, and an insightful mind. Loved enterting the thought. Great write.

I really liked this. There are some great poets here and you are definitely one of them. Thank you, it was a treat.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
