    A quet rain cleases not only the earth, but the soul

    Haiku Rain - and other stuff

    Temple Bells in rain
    This is not my religion
         yet here I feel peace


         A religion that is not peaceful
         is not a religion  - but a gang


    Rain falls on my home
    Not just on the roof it falls
         The Earth too is cleansed


         Seeking the right words
         I sit in my quiet place
         waiting the surprise


          Listening to the rain
    My mind and earth are flooded
             Very refreshing


    You who seek intellectual
       And scientific proof
          For esoteric knowledge
             To you I say
                 - Patience...

    I like this arrangement, Stryx. Yes, a religion should bring peace, not terror. Too many lord it over each other and fight among themselves for power of will. The single word patience is penultimate and peace the result. Dwell in love, peace and freedom, Olan

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
