    This is written out of frustration - Not that is is a wonderful example of poetry.

    The Poet?

     Why do you want to become a good poet?
    It's not at all easy, and you certainly know it.
    The rhythm and rhyme must be written just so.
    Still you write your heart out, to let us all know
    your experiences, that are so very bizarre.
    And I wonder if you know that they actually are.
    Go read a book on Shelley or Poe.
    Read up on your grammar, so you can know
    just what you really are trying to say.
    So we can say 'Great,' instead of,  'No Way!'

    Sage advise. The fourth , fifth and sixth lines seemed out of sync with the cadence to me as I read it but other than that it flows very very nicely.

    I let the sentences trail. each subject will determine how the bugger reads.

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
