    Some will not like this. It is not from experience, yet I suspect it is a not an  uncommon Saturday night occurance. Creativity comes from the mind and the heart, as much as one's own experience. Yes?

    A moment in time

    Cards on the table
    Chips on the floor
    The smell of stale cigar smoke and alcohol
    It is morning
    and time to go to church

    In a short and very powerful poem you have revealed a very good moral lesson.In order to present the image that we want people to see of us,we need to follow through on it all the time,not just on Sunday mornings.Very well written.Thank you for sharing this excellent poem.

    Strangely, the word that comes to mind about this piece is "pungent".
