    Could we but see our lives more clearly...

    What If...


    What if there never was a perfect crime
    What if justice was dolled out all the time

    What if everything you could ever do
    Would eventually return right back to you

    And what if you knew beyond all doubt
    That the returning was what life was really about

    Would it matter at all to you - my friend
    Because that's how it shakes out in the end

                             ***

    What if everyone you know today
    Was a love or a friend from yesterday

    What if the one you're in love with right now
    Is someone with whom you once took the vow

    What if the problems you two have not solved
    Are the same old problems you never resolved

    Would it matter at all to you in the end
    That this is the life you are making - my friend

    What if there really is just one God? What if there is only one way to Him...and what if our hour of visitation is up when were settled in the sod? What if at the end of the line we discover that it was all true, that there is only one way, and one life. Then what would we do? We'll all know one day just what is what...no? Sorry...waxing poetic. Thought provoking write you've got here Mr. B.

    We have had a couple thousand years of that what if - and where are we? Man is no better off with his religion. I say there is a better way. Jesus knew of what I speak, but the Church had other ideas which were foisted on then, future generation. I have spent most of these years discovering the meaning of it all. If this isn't it - it still makes more sense. We do it to ourselves! Wish we could sit down and talk.
