    THINGS COULD GET WORSE

    When the Landlord says he'll raise the rent
    And you  know you'll be livin' in a tent
    'Cause you're paying every livin' cent
    REMEMBER - Things could get worse

    When your sister lives with a blow-up toy
    And the kid with the dress is your only boy
    And the girl he lives with's name is LeRoy
    REMEMBER - Things could get worse

    When they come and take away you car
    And the Police bring your mom home from a bar
    And says she's back from a distant star
    REMEMBER - Things could get worse

    When you girlfriend's in the family way
    And her lawyer tries to ruin your day
    And tells you it's time to pay for the play
    REMEMBER - Things could be worse

    When thy take away you license to drive
    And they find your dad in a Girlie Dive
    And the Doc says you're lucky to be alive
    REMEMBER - Things could get worse

    When they poison your dog and take your wife
    And cut your tires with a knife
    And the A Judge says it's YOUR money or YOUR life
    REMEMBER - Things could get worse

    When the IRS says to pay it now
    That the've given all they can disallow
    And you'll be paying for years by the sweat of your brow
    REMEMBER - Things could get worse
        ... But I don't know how
