Once upon a life
there lived a small boy
who was concerned about the world
He heard about murders and wars
and many earth changes that were taking place
and he wondered
what he could do about it.
So
Every night before going to sleep
he thought about the world
It seemed so large
and he was so small and unimportant
Then one night he thought to himself
I am only a small boy
but if my thoughts joined with all the other thoughts of people everywhere
perhaps - together we could make a difference
So
 each night before going to sleep
and with all the people in the world
the small boy sent out loving calming thoughts
He imagined the world in his arms
and he gently embraced it
holding it together and filling it with love
Then he went to sleep
happy he could do his small part
Soon
 the world began to get better
Crime lessened
Wars subsided
People began being more kind
more generous
and they were smiling at one another
Everyone seemed happier
And
As it turned out
that little boy was the only one who
thought he could make a difference
He was the only one who tried
The only one
