After The Rain
Body relaxed, mentally drainedConstantly trying to elevate, no room to maintain
In need of comfort, to escape the pain
This too shall pass, just as the sun shows after the rain
In search of mental lightness, so much weighs on my brain
Prayers for relaxation, for me this is so much strain
So many failures, when for perfection I aim
This too shall pass, just as the clouds after the rain
After the rain, will there be water stains
Will it stand for anything, I speak of things I've obtained
Even my errors in life, I accept the blame
Because I know, that a rainbow shows after the rain
