Your Contradictions
You say you love, but so quick to fightYou tell me go left, then you turn and go right
How are things okay for you, but different for others
You have to be right, and an automatic wrong for your lovers
The one who treats you like a queen, gets your back
Explain this to me, because I don't understand that
Tempers quick to flare, for no apparent reason
Especially on the one who'll have your back, no matter the season
It's a shame, the way minds think
Suppose to stare into his soul, but you constantly blink
Making you blind to the fact, that in your face is a man
Reaching for you, and you reject his hand
When good things are gone, then people will miss
Moving on with their life, no hug no kiss
And when you look and see them happy, what do you say
Because you know deep down, it's your fault things ended this way
So to those who this apply, get your self check on
Look in the mirror, look at your reflection
Set aside your pride, because you're not all that
Remember the world keeps turning, because it's round not flat
