    Last Night..

                                       Last night I had a dream
                                        That I saw you again
                                        Tears fell in streams
                                         It hurt to pretend

                                        Like I wasn't in pain
                                     Into your eyes I stared
                                      Felt I was going insane
                            Cuz when I woke you wouldn't be there

                                          As my tears fell
                                      You wiped them away
                                    You said all would be well
                                    By my side you would stay

                                          Reaching for you
                                 You had the most beautiful smile
                                     In the wind your hair blew
                                       Your touch was mild

                                        I told you I love you
                                    That I'm holding on strong 
                                    You told me you loved too
                                      And then you were gone

                                             In that instant
                                       I then opened my eyes
                                         In sweat I glistened
                                      I just laid there and cried
