Reminiscing
I reminisce on times, that's all i have
I think about not seeing you when I get home, and it hurts so bad
Growing up in the hood, you were always there
Promising one another, we'd always be there
For many years, we kept the promise
And they took that from me, you're gone it's
Fucked up, i can't see you in a box
Can't say goodbye, memories lock
In place of how we hustled, till the sun came up
How we rode out the city, when you bought that truck
Remember that 38 snub, that was my first gun
And when i got jumped, you stayed you didn't run
When you got locked up, I kept money on your books
We always knew what was up, it only took a look
I miss you kid, my homie for life
I'll keep my promise to you, look after your wife
And your son, whatever they need
I love you dawg, for you my heart bleeds
