    It Matters

                             Soul in limbo, realizing dreams are shattered
                    No warmth when it's cold, we wonder if it truly mattered
                      Mattered at all in the eyes of, the one you once loved
        The one you would have given your life for, the one you embraced in hugs
                               Left to ask..... "Damn what happened"
                      Do I shed these tears, or continue the fake laughing
                         Now i wear a mask, so my emotions don't show
                             Keep moving fast, I'll break down if I slow
                                             Man i don't know
                               I don't know if.. This how it should be
                        Because deep down inside I know, it should be we
                          Not just me, it takes two to complete a home
                           What is a king, with no queen on the throne
                              Inside I feel a storm, I hear the thunder
                            And while in limbo, I can't help but wonder
                                             What happened..
                                    Is this the end, is this really it
                               Should I fight for this, or do I just quit
                        But I can't let you see tears, I'll mask it in laughter
                    I'll let you walk away, even though I want to chase after
                                       Because to me it matters
