The Journey
Wiping the sweat from my brow, the journey is longLeaving foot prints in places, I'm not sure I belong
This is everyday life, no poem, no song
Sometimes I want out, but is this thought wrong
See....
I have so much weight on my back, my legs have gone weak
I can't remember the things, that I remembered last week
And when i grab a thought it runs... hide and seek
Heaven show me a sign, I need just a peek
Of the sun..
A peek of the sun, because everything is dark
Like I'm trapped in the ocean, surrounded by sharks
And in silence I hear things, mainly the beat if my heart
Maybe the sun could set a spark
A flame..
Set a spark in my life, a magnificent blaze
So many directions, I mean so different many ways
I keep losing track of things, I can't recall my days
I have only one vision of you, the only memory that stays
Help me..
You're the only one who can help, my arms are open
In the night I pray, in the day I'm just hoping
Love has me lost in it's sea... and I'm floating
I travel alone on a journey we began together, so much for hoping
