This Talk
Come here baby, can we sit and talk,
If you don't want to sit, we can just take a slow walk.
I have some things to say, I need to get off my chest,
And I'd like to say them, before I lay to rest.
I know you have fear, a fear of being hurt,
But I'll do everything in my power, to make this last and work.
Often you think of the times, you've had to shed tears,
And even when i can't comfort, know that I care.
NO matter the problem, you're safe with me, No other place I'd rather be, than me with you living happily.
When we speak, by phone or via text,
I anticipate, when I'll hear from you next.
When I'm away, visions of your smile bring me joy,
A nice warm feeling in my body, sets loose to deploy.
Leaving me satisfied, diminishing the hunger inside,
With no worries at all, a sense of pride..
When I pray I pray for you, and not for me,
For good health, calm dreams, as well as your safety.
And when i do, I rest so well at night,
Knowing you're in good hands, and you'll be alright.
If I should die, before I wake,
I'd find my way back to you, make no mistake.
In thinking that, I'd leave you all alone,
I'd gives little signs to let you know, that I made it home.
I apologize for any painful feelings, that were my fault,
I need nothing more, this is all.
I thank you for listening, while we took this walk,
Just a few things I wanted to say, that's why we had this talk.
