    Can I

                           Can I love you forever, we're at eternity's door
                    This journey was made for me, need I ask you once more
                               Can I love you forever, Take my hand
                           I love you with all of my being, every strand

                          Can I share your days, the good and the bad
                    Make you forget about the bad, and past that you've had
                       Can I make you live for today, and look for tomorrow
                            Make up for all of your past pains and sorrow

                              Can I take your hand, stand side by side
                             Smile proudly for you, head high with pride
                          Can I offer you the gift, I once spoke of before
                           Show you nothing else matter, it's you I adore

                             Can I show you things, make you see good
                     Understand things in you, that were once misunderstood
                        Can I give a reason, for the happy tears you'd cry
                                I was created for you, so I "ask can I"
