    Misty Night

                                  The night sky embraces my soul
                                    I stand over looking the bay
                                     Misty breeze chillingly cold 
                                Full moon says goodbye to the day 

                                      Illuminating the night sky 
                                    Lightening all hidden in dark
                                 In the distance the cars pass by 
                                  Lovers make out in cars parked

                                        Vivid thoughts of you 
                                     Weigh heavily on my chest 
                                 Moon light shows your images too 
                                      Off the water they reflect 

                                              Inhaling deep  
                                 In hopes of the taste of your breath 
                                       Memories of you so sweet 
                                      I send to you all I have left

                                            Smiling to myself 
                                   Fingertips brush the waters edge 
                                     Wondering if this touch is felt 
                                         To love forever I pledge 

                                        From the height of space 
                                   To the bottom of the waters deep 
                                       I wish my heart to embrace
                                    You as the night away you sleep
