Hell
If you believe in heaven, you must believe in hellLet me take you to a place, where my soul once dwell
This was a time I was, eleven or twelve
My place in the world, I was to young to tell
Eyes wide open, witnessing police brutality
Frowned upon, like we didn't belong to humanity
I was selling drugs, so my mother stayed mad at me
It is what it is, so that's just how it had to be
I bought my first gun, when I was only thirteen
I really didn't need it, till this kid shot me
Cops asking questions,but I couldn't turn snitch
Because if you snitch, you get found in a ditch
Trash on the ground, bottles broken everywhere
Little girls running the streets, mothers couldn't comb their hair
At young ages, having babies
Homeless people sleeping on the curb, or walking around going crazy
Fiends in the alley, needles and pipes
Paramedic sirens going, I heard them all night
Screams from the lady above, spousal abuse
Knowing she should leave, but still she'll refuse
Imagine how it felt, to walk in my shoes
Hearing from people, that's all there is for you
Hearing the sound, smelling the smells
Some people lived in paradise, I made it through hell
